Studiowworks Grand Opening

Date: March 18 & 19, 2006

Where: Studioworks film school located in Eau Claire market

Description of the event:� During the grand opening of the film school there will be featured FREE workshops

available to the general public. In addition there be demonstrations at the school and through out Eau Claire market.�

Included in the ambience of the event will be battalions of Star Wars Stormtroopers, Swat teams, dungeon masters

and a variety of other film characters.

Saturday March 18, 2021 10:00 Introduction to Gun effects in movies set.� Presented by Kent Props � the armourers for movies like Open Range, Dreamkeeper, Daughters of Joy, Monte Walsh, September Dawn and more. 12:00 Introduction to Movie stunts � Presented by Jodi Stecyk of Wreck Stuff. (Ginger Snaps 1 & 2, Chicks with Sticks,� Corner Gas, Mentors, Air Bud, Final Destination 3 and more.) 1:30 Tips for promoting yourself as an actor. Presented by David Grant one of the featured speakers of the New York film and Entertainment conference. 2:30 The future of film distribution � Presented by Hollyflicks - Find out how you can get distribution for your film today! Filmmakers are invited to bring films for considered distribution that day. 3:30 Basic Camera � Presented by Joshua Whitford (The Signal, Assasination of Jesse James, Daughters of Joy, September Dawn. And many many independent films.) 4:30 What is Studioworks? The company owners will spend sometime talking about what programs are coming up and what can be expected from students of Studioworks.
