Join us for a free Intro to Editing Workshop with Brenda Terning on September 15-16 at Edmonton’s NAIT Campus.  Presented by WIFTA, Labour Market Partnership Program (LMP), the National Film Board, Modern Muse Media and People & Peaks Productions, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn the trade, brush up on your skills and gain the confidence required for your next video project! The weekend workshop will also include a panel discussion with Katrina Beatty and Sarah Buchynksi. A small networking mixer will follow for participants on Sunday evening.
*Note: this workshop is free for WIFTA members only. Any interested parties can attend for a $50 fee, which includes a year membership with WIFTA.
No fees are collected for this event, but registration is still required as the workshop has limited space.

About the Instructor
Brenda Terning is an award-winning documentary editor, her body of work includes multiple internationally broadcast documentaries. Recent films have included; Vital Bonds (Winner Canadian Cinema Editor Award 2017), Wolverine Ghost of the Northern Forest (Nominee Canadian Cinema Editor Award) and the three-part series, The Great Human Odyssey (Winner, Best Science Nature Series, Canadian Screen Awards, 2017 Emmy Nomination). Her Past body of work includes Gemini Nominated documentaries; Tipping Point, The Age of Oil Sands, The Perfect Runner and Lost Years.  Terning has edited nine episodes of The Nature of Things.   She is a three-time winner of the AMPIA Award for “Best Editor†as well as garnering 12 nominations as an editor.
