STORYHIVE, a community powered funding platform through TELUS, has grants and distribution opportunities for local filmmakers in Western Canada.
STORYHIVE just launched its latest edition – and this time they’re looking for digital short ideas. Apply for your chance at winning one of 30 X $10,000 grants (15 in each province) to deliver a digital short, plus receive distribution on TELUS Optik™ TV On Demand. Projects are being accepted until 12 pm (noon), October 11, 2021 so now is the time to put your best short film idea forward.
The action unfolds on STORYHIVE.com as the community votes to decide which projects get funding and distribution.
Later finalists move on with their finished videos to Stage 2 of the competition where one lucky team in each province will win one of two Top Awards – consisting of customized career training and mentorship programs, a scholarship to the Banff World Media Festival, and distribution on select TELUS platforms.
