Oscar nomination for our very own Alberta producer Bonnie Thompson - Best Animation Short Film .  Congratulations! Bonnie Thompson, Edmonton-based film producer, was invited to California for a 2 week junket before Sunday’s 84th annual Awards ceremony. She’s there with Calgary-based animators Amanda Forbis and Wendy Tilby. Wild Life is all set in Alberta. It tells the tales of English well-to-do young men who came to western Canada in the early 20th century - unprepared!
